Mission

Julia is from Maryland, and has always channeled her curiosities of the world around her through her art. Her main medium is oil on canvas, and she received a Painting and Printmaking degree from VCU in Richmond, Virginia. Her creative journey has since brought her to the west coast to Los Angeles and the Coachella Valley, building her career as a mural artist while maintaining a strong focus on her body of works on canvas. She is fiercely dedicated to her lifelong path as an artist.

Julia’s work exudes a playful energy, often contrasting child-like wonder with darker, unsettling themes of life. Her work dances around strange familiarity and unease. Its nature and style is whimsical, mysterious, and offbeat. It is a process of constant questioning and challenging our inner and outer worlds. It is about our shared human experience and what could possibly lie beyond our limited perception.
